On top of the bloody turn of events, there's a ginormous development in this issue, one that is sure to have readers pretty divided. We won't spoil how the fight with Apocalypse ends, but we'll give you a bit of a hint and call it "brutal." Very, very brutal. Victor's just lucky Cyclops and Havok didn't unleash as well! One day Sabretooth won't look like a total chump. Yes, this is going to be yet another showing where Wolvie's longtime foe ends up on the floor and in a whole lot of pain. The guy has some epic fights with Wolverine, but he's been getting beat up quite a lot over the past several years. Now that they're no longer holding back, that means this spells bad news for Sabretooth fans. Sabretooth may be swift and deadly and his an always reliable healing factor, but against the X-Men, he's in for quite a fight. Who's that brave and noble hero, you ask? Why, it's none other than your friendly neighborhood Carnage! "Ol' Papa Carnage." There's your new series, Marvel.Īs the bomb continues to count down, the evil X-Men continue to hold their own against anyone who stands in their way. Luckily for them, there's a massive brawl going on nearby and one especially heroic character has escaped the fray and will arrive just in time to save Spidey from the teleporter's sword. The fight goes crashing out of the building and, as if the odds weren't already stacked against the two, the blue elf decides to show up and make things even more complicated and all kinds of unfortunate for Deadpool and Spider-Man. The merc with a mouth's agility serves him well, but one can only evade for so long.
